He favors modest holdings in physical gold-but would rather lose money on the bullion and coins he personally holds.

Gartman is a hypocrite and shill for The Man. He "holds his nose" as he buys gold and states publically that "he does not like people who are long of gold" (read "he does not like people [such as himself] that are Un-American for holding the anti-dollar as an investment). What an A-hole.
