EZ-"Do you really think anybody who MISPLACED $100,000.00 of investment money really cares about Cj's semantics. He's probably lucky he's at the end of a digital connection and not within their immediate reach. That's depressing for those who's money has mysteriously evaporated, wouldn't you say..........................."
ez, it's NOT "semantics".....if you lost $100,000 then someone made a $100,000. the money did'nt "mysteriously evaporate"...it changed hands
dont kill the messenger...look at the ones screaming the loudest..the big banks. ask yourself why the big three automakers have to jump through hoops for $30bil but the government handed paulson $1tril at the drop of a hat...people had to sell stocks to cover margin/mortgage/loans (you name it)....who got that money?
this is very similar to the depression era....Jpmorgan, BOA, CITI are buying more banks and investment houses every day.....but screaming "broke"...the govt gives them a TARP (to grease the skids of the economy) and the banks cut off lines of credit, invest in companies overseas and foreclose on houses....
the sad fact is that money is considered a game and we all lost....not because we're dumber than the other guy...we just cant compete...
