Response from Richard Marshall:
Enrique Tejera Paris was a director of Crystallex in the late ‘90’s until early in the ‘00’s. He was interviewed by the Chavez Administration for allegations of involvement in the Coup and was cleared and let go by Chavez in 2002. During Enrique Tejera Paris’ tenure at Crystallex we were awarded the Las Cristinas Mine Operating Contract. Following his departure we received numerous reviews and approvals by the various Government Agencies.
Unfortunately, detractors continue to bring up Tejera Paris’ past and try to smear his involvement as a potential problem – it has not been raised as a problem in any government meeting and any level.
Regards,
Richard
