I really think that GS and MS are selling due to their financial status. If you were a muti million dollar brokerage with the potential of cutting work force, expenses, travel expenditures, work hours of hourly employees, rent or leases, meetings expenditures, bonuses.....etc.
I have been there and know what these cutbacks do. I've been the one doing the cutting before and its not pretty.
You cut out a trade of a company that just went to .10 cents and keep the ones trending higher.
You don't have time to wait out the results...period...cut cut cut.
Know with that said that is where a retail investor actually has the advantage for once. These guys have to make a decision based on their corporate guidance. We as individual investors have our own say...NICE for once.
