Geographic Institute Simón Bolívar provide mapping information


Caracas, Nov 24. ABN .- The information that mapping and cadastral manages the Geographic Institute of Venezuela Simón Bolívar (IGVSB) will be available to institutions, schools and embassies of Venezuela in the world.

So informed the vice minister of Planning and Environmental Management of the Ministry of People's Power for the Environment (Minamb), Merly Garcia, who explained that the IGVSB have a large amount of mapping information, geographic and land of great importance to the Venezuelan population.

"It is information that has been cloistered and therefore seeks that it be exchanged with agencies within the same area to work with her, the updated and returned for the institute to certify," said the official.

Garcia said that for the publication of the system is being constructed a database that will be ready and available to those requesting it at the end of this month.

In this regard, he stressed: "this is what we perceive as the democratization of information."

He also noted that will be managed so that data are incorporated into the Foreign Ministry, so they are available to the embassies of Venezuela abroad.

On the other hand, stressed that this information is important and vital for the planning being done by the State for development of the country.

"The Institute has a geographic information system, which is helpful to know what part of the territory has roadways, and above all, the developments proposed by the Executive," said the official.
