The Ministry of Basic Industries and Mining (Mibam) assured that this Thursday and Friday it will cancel the payments to the miners, corresponding to tickets within the framework given of the program Alliance Town-Government, established in 2006.

Vilchez assured that they will brief the tests that demonstrate the participation of political factors in the mining protest

“It rains, it roars or it flashes, Thursday and Friday we are going to give checks to the 6,072 beneficiaries”, assured Rodolfo Vilchez, chief of a main directorate of Mining Concessions of the Mibam, that informed that will realise the 72 payment of 6 thousands tickets, that are equivalent to an amount of 60 million strong bolivars.

It emphasized that the payment cannot be made immediately, as they ask for the miners, due to the administrative proceedings that the accomplishment of such amount of checks implies.

The civil servant explained that in the 2006, product of the Alliance Town-Government established with the mining sector dictated a decree by means of which “became” the miners who realised activities in the river basin. For such effects, they distributed tickets of “humanitarian aid”, many of which were not cancelled.

“When minister Rodolfo Sanz arrives at the Venezuelan Corporation of Guayana and Mibam, we occurred to account of that existed a social debt and previous approval of the President of the Republic, in May of 2008, assumed the payment of tickets which they had not been cancelled at the time”, it indicated.

In that sense, it ratified that this Thursday 20 to the 11:00 in the morning will realise the payment of Bs.F. the 10 thousand to the miners in City Bolivars, whereas Friday 21 does the same in the Paragua.

In addition delivery will become of 53 credits by an amount of 7.8 million strong bolivars, for the sectors: agriculturist, fishing boat and services of the municipalities the Pebble, Sifontes and Raul Leoni.

The director of Mining Concessions of the Mibam assured that the reclamations of the miners have political dye, and blamed from this situation to the candidate to the Interior of the state Bolivar, Andres Velasquez.

“In spite of the concerted effort that we have realised, are groups interested in fomenting the violence and the chaos”, he said, when blaming the aspiring to the first regional magistrature, Andres Velasquez, “that he has wanted to not in vain give him to a political shade… the night of yesterday (Monday) left giving declarations in Globovisión in which he made responsible to Rodolfo Sanz of the situation in which was City Bolivar”.

It was not only once. In different opportunities, the chief of a main directorate of Mining Concessions of the Mibam, Rodolfo Vilchez, assured that the situation of the miners is clarified, considering that exists date of payment and count on the resources.

“This is a plan orchestrated by opposition sectors, commanded by Andres Velasquez to cloud the elections of Sunday”, said, while it emphasized that they are not going to manage to dim the elections of 23N.
