Did not take the Russian long to jump on the "Press" bandwagon.

I am getting somewhat disturbed by the sudden influx of a Russian presence in Venezuela. This currant market downturn and the USA's financial problems along with Cheve'z Leftist Ideology have created an opportunity for Russia to gain an entrance onto the American Continent after the Political/economic demise of Cuba. Mark my words, they will use Cheve'z fixation on "capitalism's/greed" and firmly establish a position of leverage towards the USA by having vested interest in Venezuela in the infrastructure, which they will protect with force. History, history, history. I still remember world war II and how our "Russian partners" behaved towards the Allies.

On the other hand Cheve"z is indicating a more "warm" relation with the USA (Obama). So he has positioned Venezuela in such a way as to play both sides.

KRY could very well be used as carrot on a stick dangling befor the Russian intersest. As a previous bloger said " The Russian are back".

My advice to Cheve"z " you are standing on a very slippery slope".
