New public transport company will respond to 37 thousand users per day
Ciudad Bolivar, 10 Nov. ABN .- Nearly 37 thousand people started to enjoy from this Monday's daily service offered by the company of Public Transport Bolivar (Trans-Bolivar), created by the governor of this state, Francisco Rangel Gomez, within the modernization plan and spread throughout the body.
The president of Trans-Bolivar, Jose Valdez, explained that the company began operations on routes Suburban and urban state with a fleet of 46 units, including minibuses and buses of 32 seats from 52 seats Pullman type.
He said that the vehicles were purchased by the state Executive during the last Copa America in Venezuela Football 2007, while the minibuses were purchased in Venezuelan and Brazilian manufacturers, according to specifications to ensure the comfort and safety of passengers.
'A total of 11 units of our fleet will be dedicated to routes between Bolivar and the capital of the Republic as well as long routes between Ciudad Bolivar and Ciudad Guayana and the more remote towns to the south and west of the state, "said Valdez.
For his part, a further 35 units will be used to cover urban and intercity routes, giving special attention to areas for technical or economic reasons do not have an adequate public transport network at this time.
Likewise, Valdéz stressed that Trans-Bolivar operates under criteria of quality management, technical, operational and human similar to those of any large national or international company.
He stressed that all units will be continually monitored via satellite from Comprehensive Care Center and Coordination of Public Safety (CIACSC), built by the governor of Bolivar in the facilities of the Emergency Services Bolivar 171, in San Felix.
'In total, made an investment of 20 million bolivars strong in the boot of Trans-Bolivar, and we are currently generating 150 direct jobs and 400 indirect, "he said.
He noted that both drivers and other staff of Trans-Bolivar received training from several months to improve their performance at the wheel and also to optimize their treatment of users.
With regard to tariffs, noted that Trans-Bolivar route will operate with prices by about 25% cheaper than those charged by the private lines that have routes assigned by the different halls.
He explained further that the company has five shipping terminals, located at the airport of Ciudad Bolivar, Stadium Cachamay Ciudad Guayana, Guasipatí, Tumeremo and in Santa Elena de Uairén.
Since the latter terminal began operating the route long-Ciudad Bolivar St. Helena, calling at all towns located along the trunk road 10.
'This will connect to the border area with Brazil to the major cities of Bolivar state, benefiting tourism and integration with the brotherly country, "he said.
As for urban routes, noted the upcoming inauguration of the direct route that runs from Ciudad Guayana Battles (San Felix) to the Industrial Area 321 (Puerto Ordaz).
