This I believe is to be a NON metallic mining conference but they reference gold...notice at the bottom it mentions who is there and what they are there for "Petrographic characterization of the rocks of the complex Imataca" and "Environmental recovery in areas affected by mining cooperatives in the process of conversion"....gee who does that last one sound like. Funny reading this article sure sounds like there is some open pit mining going on somewhere in VZ doesn't it?
