Another problem Mr. Gray points out is that many of the best geologists in the industry will choose to simply retire rather than fight through the tough times. That will deplete an already small talent pool.

Thanks to our friends in Venezuela, KRY looks like it might definately be on the short list. I question Mr. Gray's "tough times" assertion. Tough times for credit...yes. But the tough credit conditions become much less important in a secular gold bull market...especially if\when the price of bullion goes vertical. If gold jumps to $1000\ounce overnight, I suggest that KRY will be seen in a much more positive light. To read Mr. Gray, you would think that we are in year #8 of a bear market in gold (with no end in sight), rather than in the middle of a global banking collapse and on the verge of the default of the paper COMEX con game....all within the framework of an ongoing bull market in gold. Our problem is Venezuela. Country risk...I shoulda listened to the experts.
