Cristallex collective bargaining fails

Ciudad Bolivar Cristallex .- The company is in breach with their
workers as provided in the collective bargaining, specifically with
sections 15, 23, 31 and 30 Information is provided by Denis Chacon, secretary general of the union, who came from Kilometer 88, accompanied by several union leaders.

Added that the manager of the company, Juan Claudio Palazzo, has been systematically violating the collective contract, such as Clause 15 relating to the tabulator, 23, of transportation, 31, with regard to health and 38, has to do with travel and medical assistance.

He noted that besides the violation of the collective contract, the
aforementioned citizen only because they discriminate simply because they are staff worker, forgetting that they have supported the company in good and bad.

He noted that relations are very good with the general manager,
engineer Jose Diaz and with the human resources representative, the latter also has been hindered in his duties by interference from
Palazzo.

Chacon also alleged that the said representative of Cristallex,
dismissed contract workers regardless of anything, and the
cooperative, without seeing the damage it causes to families and
communities living adjacent to the Las Cristinas project.

He noted that Cristallex are looking for ways to absorb the workers or part thereof, the company Revemin, which have been without a permanent job, an issue that the union leadership is not prepared to accept, since in the area there are many parents family very well prepared to take jobs that are required.
