Speech shows that Chavez will lose the regional
Mary Virginia Nieto/.-
In the view of Emeri Briceno, leader of Copei, the aggressive speech of President Chavez in recent weeks and, especially, this Friday from Zulia, is nothing but a demonstration that is losing the elections in most of states and municipalities.
"That foul speech of hatred and beyond any sindéresis, is understandable given the emotional situation that is experiencing the president. It is no secret that Chavez, in many elections, was able to sweep their opponents, but after 10 years of misrule, people left and now many will vote against their candidates, "he said.
He also indicated that people got tired of a socialism that instead of giving greater benefits, it only has brought poverty, insecurity and hunger, "where even many Venezuelans are waiting for their house, you fix your street and have efficient services at their disposal. "
"People no longer accompanies him because it uses a misleading speech, the Venezuelan people are smart, and Democrats are accustomed to living in harmony, in peace, even taking ideological differences. The people decided to withdraw their support for Chavez and his words are the living proof that lost the elections, "said Briceno.
The leader of the Greens believed that the president tries to turn these presidential elections in a plebiscite, where he "is the great candidate," but said that the people has not fallen into that game and will vote for candidates that they see fit.
"If an opposition candidate had said such phrases on television, because Conatel long ago that would have closed these channels and the CNE would have acted, but as the law is only for a few Chavez never given him," said Briceno.
