Crystallex and Gold reserve are not talking to each other about a joint venture, nor is the Venezuelan government proposing such an arrangement between these parties despite a few "news" blurbs. I'm not saying that this could never happen but it is unlikely.
Gold Reserve is somewhat satisfied with their recent progress in talking with Venezuelan officials in the various ministries, so for now I doubt you'll see any brandishing of legal threats. "Lawyering up" at this point would accomplish nothing positive.
Gold Reserve's 90 days have come and gone and Crystallex's are just about there... I doubt we'll see much from either company on this matter. At least I hope that's the case. Better to go the diplomatic route than the legal one.
