Crystallex International Corporation is a Canadian-based gold company with a successful record of developing and operating gold mines in Venezuela and elsewhere in South America
Not for nothing, but I think if you take a long term view KRY will be OK. IMO, KRY has moved out of the short term speculation play and into the long term valuation realm.
What that means (again IMO) is that on the down side even a permit announcement will not give us the immediate pop we all hoped for. The drop to these levels is just too much to overcome in this market.
The good side is we should go up from here regardless of the outcome. Short term I think we may see the .20's but once some any definitive information is revealed we will go up. Even if that is a permit denial.
The curent PPS is driven by what people think they can achieve short term. The same can be said of other companies like AUY. AUY has been downgraded 10 times this month but still it is valued at $11 minimum. THat casues investors to sell it down to $4?? It is driven by dissapointment not value.
The same with KRY. If KRY is denied a permit finally, investors will be forced to look at it from a different perspective. Once that is done they wil see that even without a legal remedy we are valued much higher than we are now.... .60 to .80.
With a permit we won't (IMO) get the pop we wanted but long term investors will be forced to look at ops cost, POG and reserves. That will cause a steady rise into the levels where we expected a permit pop to take us.
Bottom line, IMO, if you are looking for a quick gain in KRY you will be disapointed. But if you change your time frame and are patient, you have one of the best reward/risk plays out there and purchasing at these levels is very litle risk (again only if you take a long term view). Your risk capital is well safeguarded long term.
I'm a short term trader but still my largets position, longest term is KRY. I have over twice the holdings I did on 4/30 and have traded around my poistion to get my average PPS to .86. That's in excess of 60k shares for those who seek validation.
We can be positive with KRY if we do what I had to do....change my time frame.
IMO, it is those who still hold a quick gain mentality who have sold in dissapointment, which in turn has created one of the greatest long term opportunities out there, even if we don't get the permit.
If you want a decent gain and are wiling to wait, don't sell. If you need cash, OK sell but you should reevaluate trading strategies before you buy any stock again.
Good luck to all. My time devoted to KRY will be limited, but my faith in it is not.
