President Chavez arrived in Manaus to meet with peers from Brazil, Bolivia and Ecuador
Strengthening the integrated border development. It is expected the signing of new instruments of cooperation between Venezuela and Brazil
To attend the event quarterly agreed with his counterpart Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Hugo Chávez, arrived in the capital of the Brazilian state of Amazonas, Manaus, close to the 8 and 40 in the morning ( 9:10 HLV)
The meeting sought to follow up the agreements signed between Brazil and Venezuela, for the welfare of their peoples and of South American integration, have been guests on the occasion the leaders of Ecuador, Rafael Correa, and Bolivia, Evo Morales.
Upon his arrival at the Brigadeiro Eduardo Gomes International Airport, the Venezuelan head of state was greeted by the president of the Legislative Assembly of the state of Amazonas, Marco Sergio Rotta, the sub-chief of Protocol of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil, and George Prata Venezuelan Ambassador in Brazil, Julio Garcia Montoya.
The entourage accompanying Venezuelan President Chavez is composed by Foreign Minister Nicolas Maduro and the ministers of People's Power for Energy and Petroleum Rafael Ramirez, Agriculture and Lands, Elias Jaua, to the secretary of the Office of the Presidency, Hector Rodriguez ; For Planning, Haim The Troudi; for Communication and Information Andres Izarra, for Basic Industries and Mining, Rodolfo Sanz, and for Food, Felix Osorio.
The appointment of the presidents will take place at the Hotel Tropical Manaus, where they are expected to be signed new agreements for financing housing and strengthening the integrated border development.
It is important to remember that on June 27 the quarterly meeting Chavez-Lula da Silva took place in Caracas, Venezuela, where he reiterated the need for regional integration as a tool for development of the South American peoples.
