Basically the vice president is appointing people without Sanz's authorization and the VP appointed this guy when Sanz was out of the country last time. Sanz apparently very upset and called to fire the new guy while in China with Chavez. This is all interesting because since Sanz is with Chavez you know Chavez is well aware of the VP's antics....as RC said heads may roll this weekend when Chavez arrives back....will be something to keep an eye on.

On another note remember when Ortega was traveling a lot with Chavez this summer and also appearing on all of the Alo's with him. During thattime Minamb was requested to expedite the permit process and get back to the table with KRY...I wonder what was being said on all of those trips. Now we have Sanz traveling with Chavez. I take it that Chavez uses these trips to talk with his ministers and get a better understanding of what is going or needs to be done.
