ABN 22/09/2008
Ciudad Bolivar, 22 Sep. ABN .- The Body for Scientific Research, Criminal and (CICPC) sent to the state of Bolivar to a group of expert investigators, as well as the Group Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping, with the aim of advancing the investigations into the abduction of young businesswoman Maria Victoria Abelli.
So informed the Secretary of Citizen Security of the governor of Bolivar, Efren Hernandez, who noted that this action is part of the immediate response given by the authorities after hearing about the kidnapping of the young.
Maria Victoria Abelli, who with her husband runs a construction company and is the daughter of an important businessman in the construction, was kidnapped in the morning by a group of men who entered his residence in Ciudad Guayana, dressed as technicians of the Company Anonymous Electrical Distribution and Promotion (Cadafe).
"Due to the seriousness of the case are already in the state of Bolivar in Caracas CICPC members of the group and the anti extortion and kidnapping to try to bring the situation to a successful conclusion"
Hernandez stressed that so far the kidnappers have not contacted family members. However, he noted that early indications are that the kidnapping was carried out by common criminals.
On the other hand, Efren Hernandez announced that he would not be allowed further closures of roads in the capital bolivarense, such as those carried out last Thursday and Friday by groups of miners who are demanding the payment of a bond by the Ministry of People's Power for Basic Industry and Mining (Mibam).
'The Regional Executive is not going to allow this type of disturbance, since there are strategies such as dialogue to find solutions to problems that may exist between parties to discuss the suspension of illegal mining in the Caroni river and alternative methods to ensure a source jobs for ex-miners' he said.
Similarly, he noted that there is the presumption that some of the actions of street closures and public disorder have a political background, because they suspected the involvement of groups that aspire to obtain elected office in the upcoming elections on November 23.
