Instead of coming to an uniform solution and an agreed compromise Venezuela is a country where everybody has strong ideas ,right or wrong,and forces them with the utmost vigor and drive and the success is related to the political power.

That is why events change all the time ,not because people ,as a one, change their mind but because political changeovers with a different agenda.

Having said that here is my take:

Rusoro type joint venture looks like what Chavez likes and wants.

He is the ultimate power for now.

The project is to get any company to enter in a 50/50 JV ,ask them to advance the initial building cost and the setting up of the infrastructures ,obviously taken out of the profit as expenses and maybe put some perks in the contract ,health care clinics, road works, electricity ,etc.

There it is :no financial cost to them only lots of upswing.

Coming to KRY now :

Kry contract was stipulated some years back and although is in a different form ,it will not be changed much, probably the 60/40 share of the profits will be 50/50 in line with the others

All this will happen after the new mining low is released and not before.
