My opinion is Venezuela revoked permits from both companies for one of the many reasons that have been discussed endlessly on this board. I do not think that there was any real thought put into the revocations on Venezuela's part as oil revenue was floating their boat. My latest assesments are based on a greed/need quotent on the part of Mr. Chavez and the current situations concerning the miners, the socialist retoric, the election, and the price of oil.
