I don't know about everyone else, but the more I read the more confused I get about the politics around the environmental permit. I remember a few months ago the National Assembly was very positive with KRY and wanted mining to begin immediately. However, it now seems Molina has indicated more questions need to be answered. The issue with the tailings, social projects, and now questions that some community members oppose KRY. Very confusing, since tailings were not mention in the appeal unless it is part of the reclamation projects. Social projects are almost completed, and there are a tons of them. What more projects do they want? Finally, Mayor Vagas has nothing but community support for this project. Basically, the problem is not KRY williness to deal, it is Venzuela indesicion in what it wants.
