Canada is an ally of the United States and fights alongside us in Iraq and Afganistan....by extension....Canada fights against Iran (and, therefore, Venezuela in the warped mind of Hugo Chavez). There is a lot of talk about how absolutely imperative it is for Chavez to issue the permit to get the votes before the election. Perhaps that is a flawed assumption. I am no political scientist. I agree that it will be interesting to see if the GRZ appeal dies with no response. Does anyone feel that event would make our share price pop? I don't.
