On the surface that doesn't sound all that good....but does that statement necessarily mean that the permit approval has to wait until after the election? After all how many of those 2000 to 3000 miners would instantly be employed when the permit is granted? Employement will ramp up over time subsequent to permit approval. Many of these 2000 to 3000 miners might need to be assigned to other areas as Las Cristinas ramps up.

If, after October 20th (or whenever the official legal expiration date is for the Gorilla Lady's response) we have not received the permit and have had no formal legal dismissal of the original Minamb mining prohibition, it is more likily that KRY investors might be getting screwed by Venezuela.
