To date Crystallex has taken three gold mining projects through the design, permitting, construction and operating phases in Bolivar State, Venezuela. I do not believe there's any other Company that can match that record. Others have recently appeared on the scene and bought existing projects or operations and not had to start or complete a permitting phase form the beginning - permitting renewals are a much simpler and predictable process.

In our +/- 15 years of investing in Venezuela we have enjoyed positive relations with the Government, local communities and employees. Crystallex has been one of the few international companies recognized in Bolivar State for it social programs with the award of the outstanding citizenship award.Crystallex has been reviewed numerous times by the Government Agencies and Committees (including the CVG, MIBAM, MinAmb and National Assembly) involved in the Mining Sector with positive conclusions and/or recommendations.
