Hello XXXX. I believe John Ing writes a newsletter for Maison Placements and we have been mentioned a number of times in the past. I do not have any recent coverage to share.

The Letter from MinAMb suggets that all the requirements have been fulfilled and there's been no request for anything further.

Ortega is still the Minister. We were informd at the June meeting that the Government authorized Vice Minister Garcia to deal with the permitting for these projects. We have been pleased with the process and dialogue and are optimistic the project will be green lighted and permit issued.

Hi Richard,

I am curious if you have any reports from Maison placements or whether you know John Ing who quoted the comment indicated below? If so can you forward any new reports from them or others that are current and that reflect our current situation? Also, it appear we are back at our “waiting for the permit” once again based on your NR from Friday; can you confirm that there are no other conditions to be meet (if not what are they and what is our current status on same) to secure a permit and how the permit would be presented? (Will Mr. Chavez take advantage of a press opportunity and present at one of his weekend addresses or the like or will it be a non event with a letter or some kind of notification similar to your recent letter from MinAmb) I will not ask about a time line as I do know no one really knows except for those on the inside. Finally are your aware of the status of Ms. Ortega and whether or not she can exercise any kind of similar event denying our permit? Let me be clear I am a believer; I just cannot believe the VZ politics and the length of time this project has taken to secure the permit. In fact I just do not understand it.
