I hear you and how many weekends have we hoped something would happen? Many, Many, Many....BUT the denial did have to be dealt with prior to a permit. As per the release "Crystallex has been advised by Venezuelan Counsel that in practical terms this letter supersedes the effects and position of the April, 2008 letter". This I am sure was pushed by KRY legal counsel to be done. If not and the denial floats out there with never being addressed then KRY gets the permit and it would come back to haunt them in the past.
So maybe the issuance of the permit is very close now that this is out of the way. So when this is mentioned " The Ministry further advises that these findings must be taken into account with respect to the decision the government is to take regarding the Environmental Permit ("Permit") for the Las Cristinas project."
I take that as being Chavez. The "gov't" wanted this expedited and they are now in the process of expediting in my opinion. It points towards an Alo more than anytime before now that the denial and the appeal timeline is gone. I also am hesitant to put my money on an Alo but just saying circustances are ripe. Like I said in an earlier post here is that we will usually know when the permit is going to arrive based on the previous volume as we saw yesterday and other times I pointed out earlier in another post, HOWEVER if it was to happen over a weekend that is all out the window.
