He indicated that when the permit is officially issued, it will take time to mobilize in that they have scaled back on their operations after Black Wednesday. They are and have been limited in news releases given the delicate nature of negotiations in Venezuela....VZ officials understandably don't want to read about their dealings with KRY in the paper. Post permit they will be keeping investors advised of constuction status and other events routinely. No prediction on when permit might be issued although recent dealings with Vz. officials have been very encouraging. Agreed that upcoming election doesn't hurt with respect to incentivizing permit award. Says they have cash to last through 3rd quarter of next year. Couldn't comment on ability to raise more cash but did say that if he'd love to have a dollar for every time he was asked that question in the last 10 years.

PS: I forgot to ask him if he or Fung would make an appearance on Cramer to hype the stock. Could the next person that calls do me a solid and ask him that question? (tia)
