Back then he was head of the same Energy and Mines sub committee that just met June 4 and again came to the same conclusion of a recommendation of KRY's permit and I am sure part of the "gov't" that asked for Minamb to reconsider and expedite. Chavez wants to inaugurate a broader and more general project aka integral plan for the mining sectors. IMO there is a much bigger picture to happen when all developes here. One good reason why it is so important to watch what is going on in the news surrounding this area not just in gold mining. Remember last Alo inaugurated the Third Bridge at Puerto Ordaz....that is the beginning of more to come for the area.
