Caracas .- Venezuela today expressed its willingness to prosecute in Ecuador iron ore exporting to Europe, as part of a strategic alliance due "to socialism of the twenty-first century" that both governments promoted.

"We are ready to prosecute in Ecuador part of our iron ore that is going to other countries, especially to Europe," for which "we are able to offer support to the Ecuadorian steel industry," he said Venezuelan Minister of Industries Basic and Mining, Rodolfo Sanz, his Ecuadorian colleague Industries and Competitiveness, Xavier Abad.
The construction of the binational steelworks that will be required to do so will be installed in any of the Pacific ports of Ecuador, said after the signing in Caracas of a "record of work" to enhance bilateral cooperation steel.
"This signature is intended to promote strategic alliances to support the development of the steel industry in Ecuador, in fairness to both sides," said Abbot.
