rob, a slight correction in your correction to an fyi (not to sound condescending)...but......hugo actually paved the way for rangel "the rascal"(a prior military butt buddy) to approve the MOA via his position in the CVG when hugo changed the constitution and allowed for mining in a zone which had (argueably) been off limits but was a concession owned by placer dome...placer chose not to pursue mining activities due to the low gold price at the time (although they did enjoy the reserve oz it showed)....ven got po'd that placer did not begin operations in a timely manner (ironic is'nt it) and revoked the concession due to breach of contract..... after numerous court battles and other unsavory events placer lost (and/or sold it's rights) and kry legally (per the ven supreme court) ended up with the MOA.......

the long and short is that rangel is now the governor of bolivar (and imo will do exactly what is best for rangel and no one else, personally, i dont see where rangel has done favor #1 for kry)....
