While I don't expect any changes in the deals with either KRY or GRZ other than some relatively minor environmental items, I have to agree that when I've run the numbers on VZ buying into a JV situation, the numbers still appear very favorable.

Bottom line though is that VZ simply does not have the capital to tackle mining, they are barely keeping up oil capex, and that is an optimistic view on oil.
