By my quick calculation at the current ask a few minutes ago for the stock and Jan 08 2.50 call, as long as the stock trades above about 3.60 before expiration in January, you are better off with the options.

I expect a permit before then and certainly a higher price, so the options do seem attractive. Of course, like many here, I've seen a number of calls expire worthless over the last couple years.
