This is both good and bad. When I first got wind of this I thought that the permit might be held up till Ortega was booted out of office. This sounded very good for us.

The only draw back would be if a new MimAmb minister wanted to take his time to review everything and we had to start the process over again. I personally don't think that will happen.

IMHO Ortega caught caught with her hand in the cookie jar and she will have to explain where all the money for the lake evictions went. This sure supports the theory that Ortega was on the take from the Russians to delay our permit.

It might also explain why (from what I've heard) MimAmb didn't actually do much of a review of Kry original submission. I've been told that there has been no new submission from Kry to MimAmb. The process has involved explaination of what the original submission was. I believe I posted this a couple of weeks ago.

On July 7th 12:44 I posted this reply to Jetfan "

The real work is being done now with MimAmb officials to ensure everything submitted is exactly what is needed for permit approval. This doesn't mean KRY is making any major changes, it means that they are reviewing the original acceptance from last year and explaining everything again. If something needs tweaking it will be done as they go over the original submission.

This was based on my hearing that Ortega was out and that MimAmb hadn't really reviewed the original submission before the denial.

You can never be sure when dealing with VZ but I sure hope this will allow our saga to come to an end sooner rather than later!
