Hundreds of inhabitants of the population of the Gilded one, in the Sifontes municipality of the state Bolivar, invaded the Lagoon of Tail (zone of I deposit of residual material of the process of extraction of gold where the cyanide in the process of recovery of this metal is used, like one of the main elements), located in the three Young concession pertaining to the Hecla company of Venezuela, running the risk of being contaminated by the high percentage of cyanide chloride that contains this lagoon.

The miners encouraged in obtaining to several gramas of gold in the residues deposited in this lagoon, have not measured the high risk that run their lives when realising the extraction of the there accumulated material, the cash of the National Guard Bolivariana of Venezuela that guard the place, have warned the miners of this risk, to which these, have made contingency not covered by law and remain in the inner doors of the company located to 15 kilometers of the population of the Gilded one.

We must have present that when making contact with enemy the human being with this substance, can be presented/displayed serious and lethal effects to the organism, which can cause burns, respiratory affections, slow or sudden envenenamiento and poisonings concerning organs.

Some of the first indications of envenenamiento by cyanide are deep and fast and lacking breathing of breath, followed by convulsions and loss of the knowledge. These symptoms can happen quickly, following the ingested amount of cyanide.

A call to the environmental and sanitary authorities becomes so that they realise visit to the site of the events to the aims to put record of the happened thing and manages to surround the area and takes the corresponding measures. YG
