How Much Longer for the Elusive Permit?

The modifications suggested by the MinAmb representatives fall within three main categories:

  1. Further optimizing the social projects in the area;
  2. Mitigating the impact of open vein deposit mining in the currently affected areas of the Imataca;
  3. Improving the remediation plans at the end of the mine life as well as to remediate the existing environmental damage caused by the illegal miners who have worked in the area.

The MinAmb representatives stressed the importance of expediting the submission of details relating to the suggested request for modifications in order to enable prompt resolution of the permit.

Why would Crystallex shareholders want to spend an additional cent on the Vens social programs when we have already pumped $200M US into their communities? When does it end?

What does "prompt resolution of the permit" mean? A week, a month, a year? Would anyone care to take a stab at this one?

It always seems like the Vens find a reason to procrastinate in issuing the permit. Could this be a stall tactic to bide for more time to select a new owner or partner? I've always been suspicuous on the sale of the mine equipment.

Hopefully, tomorrow at the AGM Chung will shed some light on the elusive permit and whether KRY will mine the property on their own, partnership or sell the property to the Ruskie's, of course, with the blessing of the Ven's as they are the proud, property owners.

You have to admit there has been lots of mystique surrounding this play. Is today's price increase just another upward climb in the roller coaster or are we shooting for the moon? Good luck longs!
