I'd love to talk to Baker to get his take on what really happened with those "leap of the frog" complaints. Were they just unfounded complaints by a few disgruntled workers or were these workers "put up to this" by Hugo's henchman? IMO...it's a bit too coincidental that Vz. seems to have this new found concern for the environment while we have simultaneous worker unrest due to the cruel, greedy international mining companies....all against a backdrop of the nationalization of everything. I do not trust Hugo. The environment is a perfect tool for the consolidation of power by the left whether it be in Venezuela or the U.S.

BTW...in the unlikely event that Venezuela actually decides to clean up the toxic mess caused by the illegal miners rather than let firms like Crystallex clean up the environmental damage as part of the mining process...how will get they get qualified foreign firms to do this work? By allowing them to make a profit...something that in Hecla's calculus foreign miners will NOT be allowed to do.
