With the objective to optimize the attention of the population and the reduction of the contamination by mercury, originating from the mining industry in the state Bolívar, the department for the Environment (Minamb) and the group interdisciplinario devised the project of territorial code of the basin of the rivers Caroní and Cuyuní.
