What Makes Beno's banning suspicious is the fact that many posters, including me, have been threatened with expulsion for nothing more than questioning someone elses opinion based post or for posting something with an even moderately negative slant.

This is a new phenomenon. In the past, when a member of mgmt disagreed with the content or spirit of a post, they would post a rebuttal, which was fair and beneficial for everyone.

It might be appropriate to have periodic evaluations of mgmt, by vote, to balance out their power over posters. Give us the power to expell overzealous mgmt.

I for one have held back on a couple of solidly backed posts out of fear of what I would discover in my mailbox. I don't think that benefits anybody.
