With 57% won the mayor Marlene Vargas

Without any setback in the internal elections of United Socialist Party of Venezuela-Psuv-Mayor Marlene Vargas Rivas won 57% of the vote, as he realized the board tellers. The highest vote of 1,818 votes were for the mayor who earned his exclusive right to run for reelection in the Mayor's Sifontes. Psuv of 3,150 voters went to vote. Marlene Vargas Rivas led the team: Marlene Vargas-Rangel Gomez. Indeed, the latter won in Bolivar, with a vote on the 35 thousand votes.
In Sifontes worked five polling stations, three in Tumeremo and one in the parish Dalla Costa and another in San Isidro. The municipal coordination, under the National Electoral Council, was in charge of teacher Javier Ruiz, who confirmed that the process was developed within normality, as had been anticipated.

A shot wounded miner
The miner Castle Williams, who looked after one of the camps in the area of Morocco, of Las Claritas, was wounded by gunfire when faced some bandits who tried to enter to steal. Luisa Cordero, wife of the injured miner reported to the authorities. He reported that the injured miner was taken to ambulatory Las Claritas and from there, sent to CDI Tumeremo where he recovers.
