In sum, Vanessa is suing VZ for getting booted back when they tried to buy Placer Dome's interest in LC when PD decided to pull out (gold was much lower back then).

The outcome either way will not effect KRY as the only damages available are monetary against VZ. But note that this is still ONLY a jurisdictional decision. Any substantive decision is years off.
