In Vheadlines previous blog about mining Roy Carson mentioned this in his blog:

"National Assembly mining sub commission president Angel Marcano says the commission remains in permanent session to deal effectively with upcoming issues."

If there is meetings going on with mining as said by Roy this will be where we may see updates on what they are discussing. However the Gaceta Oficial is a few days behind in posting info sometimes this stuff does not reach the media as in the recent appointment of the mining inspector for Las Claritas in ealy April.
