From Posted Article: "Brazil’s environment minister has resigned after becoming increasingly isolated within the government.
"Marina Silva, who rose from poverty in the Amazon state of Acre to become a global figurehead for environmental activists, resigned late on Tuesday in a manner typical of her way of operating: she wrote to President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and immediately announced her decision to the media, leaving no room for possible negotiation."
I find it interesting that RM included this tidbit about Maria Silva. Twice.. at that.
Obviously she has gained global recognition for her efforts. So much so that her resignation was world-class "NEWS".
Cold it be that Ortega fancies herself a world class "environmental activist"? Worthy of global recognition? Maybe a bit frustrated with the world's lack of attention to "her" efforts?
What better venue to gain world wide attention for one's "nobel (self-centered?)" efforts?
Does RM see someone reaching for the "Stars" while standing on KRY's and GRZ's backs?
Just a thought.
