Ian you are correct that if this holds and they try to essentially evict KRY, GRZ and others without reasonable compensation, the WORLD stage of investment(including China, Russia, Iran?) would never put $ one into VZ. I've said this before, but people keep forgeting the fact that these mines LC & LB are on the World stage(you all know the reasons).This is a Very Large Deal and VZ's future is riding on it. The World community, particularly now in the food arena, is watching and asking themselves "Do I/We, as a company/govt, wish to conduct commerce with VZ? Bolivia & Ecuador have tempered their outbursts and complied with the rule of law after having a verbal orgasim in an effort to sound tough & invincible. Food(grains & meat) is the biggest leverage that the western world has. If people can't eat what will they do? - Revolt and we've already seen the beginnings in VZ. The military was sent to LC to maintain "calm" or so reported. What about keeping the illegals out so they(military) don't need to go back and clear the illegal miners out "again" prior to the REAL construction and operation of the mine. This whole fiasco is a function of renegotiation and driving the P/S down for the VZ connected to buy in on the Cheap. On another front PLEASE Eliminate the Cockaroaches that have sprouted up in the last 2days and some that have been soft bashing for months.
