Nobear, that would be the kind of response that would cause me to recant my opinion that they should have spoken today.

I would love to have heard them repsond by saying something like GRZ said and finishing with "KRY is sending a delagation to VZ immediately to discuss this matter, which out of respect to our VZ partners we feel is best handled in person" Or something to that affect. That would be an equal (maybe better) show of leadership.

GT didn't even give us a response at all. Just RM in response to a media question. We don't know what they are doing now and GT's reputation makes it appear they are just waiting for someone to call them.

In an earlier post I mentioned a parallel situation with my company. In this case as well our CEO flew to Chicago the night before our show to confront the board on the uofficial word he had gotten. Of course he then flew to the show and decided we would present anyway until he received an official notice. Though there were rumours of our demise, even I did not know how close we came to destruction until a year later...and I am a Director!

Anyway, I like your suggestion better.
