You are right that many if not most only are willing to allocate a certain % to spec stocks. Mine is 25%. As long as the PPS keeps sliding there is no real motivation to go beyond that. I will be at 25% when my $1.60 fills and will go beyond it if we go below.

I suspect these big guys are watching and if they see a reversal they will jump in with a vengeance. That way they don't go beyond their allocation until they see a likelihood that it is going up.
