2002 – In a coup attempt, members of the Venezuelan military detained President Hugo Chávez (pictured) and demanded his resignation.

Not to be maudlin, but perhaps this will prompt Hugo to recall that he is president of his people and he needs to be working for them. Now you know where I am going with this ....
