The technical mining committee has been assigned the task to assess major projects in the Bolivar Region, deliver the recommended results and schedule activities for an implementation plan to get projects underway.

Is the technical session this weekend what Ricardo Guiterritz alluded to back in Oct/07 when he stated a general integral plan not just for Las Cristinas, but for the whole productive mining sector had to be addressed??

Ricardo Gutierrez: "They are pleased, but we have to satisfy some demands. That's why we are talking about an integral plan, not just for Las Cristinas, but for all the productive, mining sectors. You know that sector is very poor and disenfranchised, it has many economic and social problems, and Crystallex has been doing excellent social labor there, and that helps a lot."
