Lots of "free money" financing offers on the TV today also.
I get offers all the time but they are linked to either current credit accounts or through banks I have done bussiness in the past.
Of course 19% is a sham, a 2k loan probably nets Fargo 1k if paidback according to their schedule.
I think these checks are harder to cash than you think. The cost of potential fraud is calc into the interest rate.
I have invested on a 0% margin when it was availiable to me a few years back, now the best offers I get are around 2%.
Even though 19% is high, I say to all- Go cash those checks and buy more KRY. (just kidding about the cashing part)
