Directors of the corporation labor applaud the changes being made in the company, but insisted that workers should actively participate in them

Since February 13, when Rodolfo Sanz, was appointed president of the Corporación Venezolana de Guayana (CVG), also minister of Basic Industries and Mines has not met with the board of the same to discuss the situation in which it is protected and their companies.

While Sanz has had an agenda quite busy with the latest developments pertaining to its management, including the tanker case, inspections and discussions with administrators and aluminium sector unions and, more recently, the case of Sidor, the directors of labor CVG believe that should not leave aside the decisions made at the parent company.

The management of the corporation should be consulted to the directory and, while being applauded by changes in the managements insist that workers should be involved in them.

In addition, the change in the chairmanship of the corporation led to the paralysis of the administrative and financial activities, due to the liaison committee which was installed in February so ordered, affecting these units.

This provoked that delayed payments to cooperatives and small and medium enterprises that provide services to CVG. "The changes are not meant to be paralyse activities," added Noel Hernandez, director of work.

Beyond the breaches with third parties, as it relates to workers in the CVG, the paralysis affecting the timely payment of the benefit of HCM, whose debt reached 6 billion bolivars strong, the payment of cestaticket given has not been able to renew the contract with the firm providing the service, dining areas and the maintenance of the pool club.

Similarly, calling the cancellation of liabilities outstanding job as the 7% increase in corporate, reducing working hours, payment of travel time for employees, vehicle insurance and bonds outstanding. MT
