We believed that the conflict with Colombia deprive personal interests


Caracas .- At a meeting simulated in the outdoor spaces of Federal Legislative Palace, the party's parliamentary fraction can be made public its assessment regarding the conflict with the National Government of Colombia, a position in which believed that deprive personal purposes.

The deputy Ricardo Gutierrez, warned that the actions taken by President Hugo Chavez is leading the country to the "edge of a conflict with Colombia", with no reason to do so.

"We believe in that as much as we strive to seek the causes of a military conflict, of armed conflict with the Republic of Colombia, and we did not find any," he said.

Sentenció that the president can not take such decisions without causes and reasons, it did not hesitate to say that is an attitude that corresponds to the end and personal purposes.

Gutierrez stressed that yesterday, at the meeting of the Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS), it became clear that the conflict is not between Venezuela and Colombia, but between the latter and Ecuador.

He said that if President Chavez wants to cooperate in the search for peace in Colombia must act in a neutral manner.
