Crystallex International Corporation (TSX: KRY) (Amex: KRY) provided their shareholders the update of the accomplishments and progress that have obtained at the Las Cristinas gold project, located in the southeastern state of Bolivar in Venezuela.

Mr. Gordon Thompson, president and CEO of Crystallex commented, "During 2007, the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources of Venezuela (MinAmb) formally notified our partner Corporación Venezolana de Guayana (CVG), which all requirements for issuance environmental permit for Las Cristinas had been met.
